Resolved Question: What kind of modeling/acting jobs are there in small towns?
I have a meeting at a modeling/talent agency in Oklahoma City, OK and I was just wondering what kind of jobs “non- entertainment” cities have?
Its the same agency that supermodel Amer Valetta first signed with, so I know they are legit.

For those who have done this before (or know someone) what kind of auditions do you get?

Thank you!

Resolved Question: When sports are involved, are American colleges just part of the entertainment industry?
They pay kids with scholarships to entertain fans to make money, most of which gets reinvested in the sports programs to make more money.

All the while, they push kids into either athletic majors or sociology or something that requires little coursework. Many of them, like the University of Oklahoma, they are not even in with the rest of the students in their basic general education classes. They have sections of math English, history, and so on of just athletes.

Is this the business model of a serious learning institution or an entertainment company?

Resolved Question: What is your honest opinion of Oklahoma (most specifically, Oklahoma City)?
I’m strongly considering a move out there by the end of ‘08. Texas is my very first choice, but I’m trying to keep an open mind.

I would like to get a job with the fed. gov’t, either in the Dept. of Transportation or a civilian military job. There are many fed. jobs becoming available since baby boomers are retiring. Since I am a soon-to-be college alumnus, soon will be a great time for me to jump in. Such a job would also be my best bet to traveling or relocating throughout, if that is what I choose or am requested to do.

Here are what sparks my interest in OKC, even though I’ve never been to OK:
-Supposedly friendly, polite people (a huge perk)
-OKC is beginning to really grow economically and culturally
-Supposedly decent nightlife and nice downtown (which is where I’d rather live)
-Urban planning is a future interest of mine, and the U. of Ok. in Norman has a great program!

I just want OUT of yucky Kentucky in ‘08 and have been saving up like crazy to make this move!
Oh, one more thing!!! I’m 21, male, and single. How friendly, beautiful, and available are the women in OKC? Are they mostly nice or bitchy, and is there a good singles scene or not? Thank you!

Resolved Question: Which would be my best fit: San Antonio, Fort Worth, Tulsa, Oklahoma City, or Atlanta? Why?
These are the urban areas in which I’m considering law school.

Which of these do you prefer, not prefer, and why? If you choose to get even more specific:
-You can rank the cities
-You can give a little inside info about the cities

I’m not just looking at the strength of the particular law schools. I’m also interested in the strength of the local economy, proximity to other large cities for weekend trips, friendliness of the people, and nightlife.

My top choices are San Antonio, Ft. Worth, and ATL. I’m sure OKC and Tulsa have more to offer than what meets the eye, though.

I want to live in a more economically stable place with nicer weather and much friendlier people than here in Kentucky.

Thank you!
