A Night Owl: A planning guide to hitting the right night spots (The Oklahoman) Nightlife around here is like my days-of-the-week underwear. I don’t wear my Monday undies on Tuesday, and I don’t pay full price for a drink on Wednesday when I don’t have to. Neither will other cheap hunger and thirst deprived night owls. Believe me - I’ve seen it firsthand getting dolled up to go out (in my cute, okay dorky, Monday tidy whiteys) and finding no one to attempt to impress when I … read more…
A Night Owl: Booming Night Owl is the next step for OKC (The Oklahoman) I was in New York City for a year. It’s nice to come back to the warm sunsets, open spaces – especially the highways - and friendly people. While New York wasn’t for me, one of the things it did right was nightlife.I think OKC has, for so long, looked at what is popular around town instead of what’s popular around the country. If we did, we might be thought of as a bit cooler than what we are … read more…

Also how is the recreation? Is there and NABA leagues or any other adult baseball leagues in the area? And how is the outdoor recreation? Resolved Question: Attending job corp in florida?
I’ve been thinking of attenting jobcorp but don’t want to attend it in my home state (oklahoma). i found out that jobcorp will send me a plane ticket or bus ticket to go out-of-state. There’s only 4 jobcorps in florida to my knowledge. Gainesville, miami, homestead and jacksonville. Which one of these cities is the safest and that i can grow in? What about the weather such as hurricanes and such. Also, i heard some parts of florida have earthquakes. Is that true? What about things to for fun and nightlife? Safety is my biggest concern though. I don’t mix with the wrong crowd but there’s also the wrong place wrong time kind of deal. Serious answers will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
